Barbara Brunworth Ph.D. is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and a Clinical Member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.

Dr. Brunworth works with women and men experiencing stage of life crises, depression and other mood disorders, grieving, relationship problems, and spiritual growth issues. Children age eight and above, adolescents, and young adults can be included in sessions with the family as well as individually. She specializes in relationship issues and has taught communication and conflict resolutions skills to couples and families for more than 25 years.

Barbara sees clients at the main office at Hwy 635 and Webb Chapel in Dallas.

She is a preferred provider and accepts insurance from: Aetna, Horizon Behavioral Services, Value Options, United Behavioral Health, Cigna, USA Health Network, Tricare, Private Health Care Systems and Managed Health Network.

For couples who desire a pre-marital inventory for the purposes of feedback in preparation for marriage, Dr. Brunworth is a PREPARE-ENRICH administrator and counselor. These inventories can be taken on-line or at the main office. Preparation for the wedding does not take the place of an investment in the success of the marriage. The PREPARE inventory and counseling is a way to make this investment.

The ENRICH inventory is used with couples who are married and would find an inventory helpful in determining the strength and growth areas of their relationship. Following the inventory, there are six 1 1/2 hour feedback sessions. The total cost is $845.00.
